Meet Shadé

Storyteller by trade, team whisperer by nature. I turn big ideas into beautiful creative assets with clear plans, open communication, and a good laugh along the way.

👋 I'm Shadé Olasimbo, an Emmy-nominated creative Video Producer based in Metro Atlanta. At HubSpot, I lead production for Spotlight, our global cross-functional product campaign that rolls out twice a year across web, video, live events, and social. I also helped launch The Hustle YouTube Channel, creating business content with bite and personality. Between both roles, I’ve produced over 500 pieces of web and social content, turning ideas into assets that inform, inspire, and actually get watched.

But my work doesn’t stop there.

Since launching FCOlasimbo Productions LLC in 2020, I’ve partnered with clients across industries—tech, education, healthcare, nonprofits, and more—as a producer, editor, videographer, and all-around creative engine. Whether I’m leading a multi-day shoot or building magic from the edit bay, I bring clarity, collaboration, and care to every frame. My freelance work has been featured in national campaigns, training programs, and everything in between, helping people and brands tell stories that move audiences to action.

I’ve worn a lot of hats (and headsets) over the years, starting in sports TV at WPSU, where I earned two Emmy nominations for my work on Penn State Football and Basketball shows. I’ve created content for 16 NCAA teams at the University of Miami, led industry-wide storytelling for the National Association of Manufacturers, and made brain science binge-worthy at the NeuroLeadership Institute.

Born and raised in Houston, TX, I’m a proud Penn State grad with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minors in Theatre and Sociology. I also hold a Master’s in Community and Social Change (also known as Community Psychology) from the University of Miami: a degree that reflects my passion for building stories and systems that center people and equity.

When I’m not on set or in post, I’m probably performing improv, watching college sports, whipping up new recipes in the kitchen, or nerding out over the latest MCU release. I’m also deeply invested in mentoring emerging creatives and using storytelling to uplift historically excluded voices.
