About Shadé

Shadé Olasimbo is based in the Metro Atlanta area where she operates FCOlasimbo Productions LLC, which was officially created in 2020. She freelances as a producer, editor, videographer, and more for a variety of clients in the A, and around the country. 

In her full-time career, she currently serves as a Senior Video Producer at HubSpot, working behind the scenes creating content for The Hustle YouTube Channel. Shadé started her career in sports at WPSU as a Producer/Editor in the Sports department, earning two Emmy nominations for her work on the Penn State Football and Men's Basketball Coaches TV Shows. From there, she joined the University of Miami Athletic Department, serving as the Manager of Production Services, producing, shooting, editing, and directing content for all 16 teams, working hand in hand with coaches and student-athletes. She left the 305 for the Capitol, spending 2.5 years as the Video Lab Manager for the National Association of Manufacturers, creating content to represent the 14 million manufacturing workers across America, then spent a stint of time with NeuroLeadership Institute creating video content as a Senior Producer, using science to make organizations more human. 

Shadé was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Penn State University in 2012 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, as a member of the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism, with minors in Sociology and Theatre. In May 2019, she earned her Master's degree from the University of Miami in Community and Social Change, also known as Community Psychology. Between her professional career and freelancing business, she enjoys combining her love of videography with her passion for helping others by sharing their stories with the world.

In her spare time, you'll find Shadé belting out musicals, enjoying a concert or museum, watching college sports, geeking out over MCU content, volunteering with local youth, or trying something new in the kitchen.
